Job Title: Business Objects Engineer

Job Location: Dayton, OH
Job Duration: 12 Months +
Job Rates:
$70/hr - $120/hr + depending on skill set and experience (quoted rates are 1099 - W2 also available)
Job Salary: $170,000 + full benefits

Job Description:

Business Intelligence Engineer:
Candidate will support our client's BI program primarily as a Business Intelligence developer / administrator using Business Objects 6.5 COTS products. Candidate will be responsible maintaining the 6.5 system during the upgrade to XIR2.

Required skills:

Design and implementation of reports and dashboards using Business Objects (specifically: dashboard manager, performance manager, set analysis, web intelligence, and crystal reports)

SQL

UNIX commands and scripting

Strong teamwork, problem solving, and customer interaction skills

Desired skills:

Prior experience with Teradata, Informatica, Rational ClearCase / ClearQuest / Requisite Pro, BEA product-line

Domain knowledge of transportation / logistics.

Experience in the development of Web applications using html, JavaScript, and Java

Knowledge and experience dealing with COTS integration and the COTS lifecycle
