Job Description:
The solutions architect will gather system application and business requirements, design, develop and support large enterprise wide web and server applications for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Design, develop, application object model ? Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and support software component development. Deliver architectural system designs, requirements, documentation and follow application development process. May work individually, or as a member of or leader of a architectural development project teams.
Solutions Architect will create architecture and design documents in compliance with Standard Software Processes, create innovative and efficient technical solutions, identifying products/ technologies that need to be researched, providing architecture context to product research, and conducting research on vendor software as needed. In this role, the architect will also interact regularly with the CTO and architectural team.

The initial assignment will involve analysis and design of application operational components.

The IT Solution Architect must have demonstrated experience in performing architectural assessment studies and preparing and presenting logical analysis, identifying critical success factors, and making recommendations.

Other responsibilities include:
1. Preparing architecture artifacts
2. Preparing design
3. Developing solutions for DHR enterprise.
4. Providing guidance to development teams implementing integration components
5. Working directly as support to the efforts of the Chief Technology Officer, as requested.

Required Skills:
· Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Information Technology or other science related area, or equivalent professional work experience.
· At least three years experience as an IT architect involved in large IT implementations
.6-8 years of OOA/OOD software development
. Must have strong Java architecture and, Java development, object oriented analysis and design experience
. Demonstrated experience working on a large enterprise project as a Senior Java Architect.
. Demonstrated experience as a senior object oriented designer/architect leading development teams using Java and J2EE.
. Must have a thorough academic and practical understanding of J2EE architectures, design patterns and the complete application development lifecycle; mastery of J2EE, EJB, JSP, Swing and Java Servlets; strong proficiency in UML modeling techniques preferably using Rose.
. Working knowledge of JDBC, SQL, and RDBMS; experience with ANT, Oracle, WebSphere, and WSAD; experience with XML, Struts, and Unix.
· At least three years experience synthesizing enterprise issues and presenting them as a framework of concise tactical strategies.
· Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation.

Minimum Years of experience needed for required skills: 3 unless otherwise noted.
Preferred Skills: . Sun certification preferred
· Three years experience as a team leader or managing/supervising staff
. Experience with LDAP, AD/AM and manipulation of authentication structures.
. Experience with Novell E-Directory v. 8.7.0 or higher and NetWare 6.0/6.5
· Experience working in a project-oriented, matrix organization.
