Description
Prestigious biotech firm is seeking a Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to deliver professional and customer-service oriented support to all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include basic desktop and phone support, configuring desktop and notebook computers for use in TCP/IP network, software and hardware installations, troubleshooting/resolving issues with both hardware and software, and responding to user questions related to hardware and software. Other duties include supporting Level 2 Specialists, coordinating workstation maintenance with outside vendors, maintaining software/hardware repair logs, assisting in workstation relocations, and assisting in phone programming, moves and installation. Successful candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of Microsoft office applications, and excellent organizational skills.
