Description
The Technical Support Engineer specializes in identifying, analyzing and fixing problems escalated from the Help Desk Team. Technical Support Engineers also serve as the primary resource for Field Service Engineers requesting assistance. The fundamental responsibility of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide support for all PACS Systems installed while maintaining service performance and customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements Include:
Proficient with DOS, NT4, XP, WIN2000, WIN2003, and Novell
Strong Network installation, maintenance, and design experience
In-depth knowledge of a broad range of computer technologies
Skills in planning, organizing, and adapting within a multi-tasking environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think logically
Ability to analyze complex computer problems and provide solutions
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
Ability to relate to customers with varying levels of technical skills and understanding
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple requests with varying levels of importance and criticality
Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
