We currently have an immediate need for an Application Migration Specialist.
Will be responsible for supporting the following:
*Migrate Java batch functionality from MS Windows to z/OS.
*Migrate a Java/WebSphere/DB2 on-line application from Sun Solaris to z/OS.

Experience/Skills
Required
* Prior experience migrating WebSphere applications from Windows or UNIX to z/OS
> * Experience accessing DB2 from WebSphere application
> * Java application configuration management
> * Bachelors Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science related
> field or equivalent experience.
> * Demonstrated leadership skills.
> * Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills.
> * Demonstrated excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills.
> Desired Skills / Education / Experience:
> * COBOL
> * Mainframe batch applications
> * Prior experience migrating Java software to z/OS from Solaris
> * Top Secret Mainframe security
> * Endevor
> * MKS
