Qualifications:

Skill set: COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, CSP, JCL, TSO, SQL
Environment also has: Java, VB.net, SQL Server, Neon Shadow (middleware webservices product)

Assignments will include: correcting processing problems, minor enhancements, long term project assignments to include analysis & database design to support the administration and operation of the federally mandated Unemployment Insurance (UI) Program. The resources will be supporting the mainframe transaction processing system used to process and pay claimant benefits. The resources will be joining a team of 8 P/A's that are state DLLR employees and they will be assisting with making federally mandated changes to the system, reengineering business processes, and implementing improvements requested by users by addressing challenging maintenance and enhancement requests.

Minimum 8 years of hands on experience in software development programming
5 years IT systems analysis and programming, specifically designing mainframe transaction processing systems (CICS)
3 years of experience in structured analysis & design (TSO, JCL DB2)
COBOL programming skills
Gateway programming (Java/VB.net)
Web to Legacy system design
Highly desirable: UI Benefits environment experience (in the last 3 years)
Excellent oral and communication skills
MS office
