Description
We have an immediate need for a System Administrator, who will work from home. THIS IS A 2 WEEK ASSIGNMENT. MUST HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS FROM HOME. You will work from home and perform the following duties: Installing and configuring the software packages listed above. Creating and testing backup routines for file systems and database. Setting up appropriate users and groups for the system daemons as well as users. Applying the latest security patches and hardening the system to minimize the risk for intrusions and other security vulnerabilities. Turning the overall system to make it production ready. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 3/4- Operating system. PostgreSQL 7/8- DatabaseJBoss 3/4- Application server. Apache HTTP Server 2- Web server. Apache James- Mail server.
