Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Project EngineerLocation: Austin, TXJob Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing systems. The MES project engineer will also be involved in the front end of projects by assisting with estimation of MES projects. A high degree of technical ability in working with cutting edge MES software and implementation is fundamental to succeeding in this position. It is also important to have the talent to coordinate his/her own projects utilizing the concepts of: communication, organization and planning, proper operation, proper documentation, visual effect and timeliness. Some travel will be required.RequirementsWill consider both entry level and experienced applicants for this position. The ideal applicant will have:*
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science*
  • 2 years experience with information technology and/or manufacturing execution systems (MES) with manufacturing applications*
  • Experience with Database MSSQL and/or ORACLE 8/9i is a must*
  • Experience with several of the following technologies; XML, .NET, VB6/.NET, C#.NET or VC *
  • Experience specific to controls systems surrounding development of HMIs, messaging, and transaction time design working within a secure environment*
  • Experience with batching and MES software from Wonderware and Rockwell a plus*
  • Experience with Web Services such as SOAP, WSDL, or XML*
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and knowledge of Design Methodology and Design Lifecycle is a plus*
  • Experience with PLC or PC based controls is a plusdf-tc
