JOB DESCRIPTION

As a SW QA Tester you will perform test script development and execution duties across multiple projects. Responsibilities include, among others:

Documentation and execution of detailed test plans based upon requirements
o Support of System and User Acceptance Test Efforts
o Maintains manual test libraries and scripts
Defect Tracking
Status Reporting to project team

Experience/Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:

5-7 years of testing experience (manual and/or automated)
o Focus of this assignment will be manual execution, however.

Experience developing functional, non-functional, and regression scripts for web-based and mainframe applications

Solid working knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices in regards to software testing

Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Attention to detail

Superior analytical and reasoning skills

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are required

Financial services experience helpful

BS in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is preferred
