We currently have an immediate need for Senior Accountant.
Wlll work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller in the various accounting operations related to Company revenue.
-Work closely with the staff involved in the revenue recognition, billing, Accounts Receivable and time reporting functions and provide guidance and leadership to the team.
-Understand contracts and see that they are properly recorded in the accounting system.
-Understand GAAP revenue recognition rules and see that these rules are followed in the recording of revenue.
-Participate in month-end close and the production of financial statements.
-Develop proficiency with Costpoint.
-Document accounting transactions in accordance with corporate policy.
-Develop strong knowledge of government contracts and the Government cost accounting standards. Facilitate the monthly accounting related to these contracts.
-Perform various projects related to Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, assisting the company to become fully compliant with these regulations.
-Perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Skills
Requires minimum five years experience in accounting. Three or more years in public accounting desirable.
-Strong knowledge of GAAP desired.
-Detail oriented with excellent communication skills.
-Experience with Deltek's Costpoint and Enterprise Planner software desirable.
-Must be proficient with MS Excel.

Bachelor's degree and CPA required.
