You will Install and configure sever hardware; Load operating systems (OS) and associated patches; Tune and configure the OS kernel and networking parameters; Troubleshoot and resolve system failures; Configure, manage user access; Provide metrics and the monitoring of performance; Provide vendor management/coordination; Create file system backups and restores. QUALIFICATIONS: B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. 2-4 years related experience. 2+ years in an IT function preferred. EXPERIENCE: Worked independently, and in groups, on small projects. Participated in several small and medium scale projects. Provided data for analysis by experienced administrators. Competent in one operating system and learning associated protocols.df-tc
