.NET Developer

.NET DEVELOPER (ASBURN, VA)
(Client requires U.S. Citizenship and clearable)

Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the Developer will be to:
- Design, develop, and test code modifications for the SCOUT Suspense Tracker Web application (migrate from classic ASP to ASP.Net)

Design, develop and test MS SQL Server 2005 database for task management systems
- Provide customer support for the ASP.NET application and the database

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

- 5 years of related professional experience
- Proficient level of ASP.Net Web application development experience (VBScript, JavaScript, maybe some C#)

Knowledge of Visual Studio or Visual Web Developer tools

- Solid understanding of SQL Server Database 2005 server and solid database design and development skills

- Ability to produce quality products and meet strict deadlines

Desired Experience:

- Experience working with AJAX and or user controls

Experience with Enterprise Service Bus in a SOA environment

Education/Certification/Training:

- Bachelors degree in related field (eg Computer Science or Information Technology)

Desired Education/Certification/Training:

- Microsoft certified developer
- Worked with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases
- Has worked with Stored Procedures and Functions in SQL

Miscellaneous Requirement:

- Occasional work on site at Andrews AFB, Maryland
- Have or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (optional)
