JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior .NET Application Engineers- Austin, TX
We are looking for people with strong .NET skills who have an in-depth understanding of the technologies they use. Come join a growing, dynamic organization using cutting-edge technology!
Our ideal candidates are software engineers with a solid computer science foundation, an analytical mind with good communication skills, meticulous software engineering discipline and the ability to demonstrate rigor and strength in Object Oriented design and analysis. Candidates must be willing and able to learn and use the most appropriate technical tools for the problem at hand. The ideal team member will be motivated and willing to learn about a new business domain and be willing to explore new technologies and trends; must be comfortable sharing knowledge and suggesting ways to continually improve engineering practices.

Strong skills in the following:
.Net 1.1 and 2.0 platform
ASP.Net, ADO.Net and C#
Database development on SQL2005
Object oriented design skills and the ability to communicate design intent outside code
Algorithm design skills
SQL, Databases, Transaction processing concepts and ORM frameworks
XML Document Processing and Web Services

The candidate should have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building Web based software applications
An undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science
Good estimation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while working in a fast paced environment
Authorization for Full time legal employment in the US

These are full-time, salaried positions; local Austin candidates preferable.
