Description
This Manager level individual has overall responsibility for all Application Post Production support obligations for a Remedy ARS and Microsoft Biztalk implementation. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Management of a team of developers, testers, and application specialists
2. Management of the workload across the team members
3. Ensuring the mediation of incidents /problems within the SLA guidelines.
4. Ownership of the escalation process for issues that are not resolved by SLA milestones.
5. Scheduling of after hours and on call coverage.
6. Communication of status of issues and post mortem reporting of issues to the customer’s management team.
7. Coordinating and assisting with troubleshooting of code defects, data errors, and configuration problems in the Remedy ARS system and custom applications.
8. Project management of any upgrades requested during the support contract period
9. Coordination of efforts with other team leads, including infrastructure, other application, and network teams, to determine the origin of application and communication errors.
10. Ownership of all documentation affected by any changes made to production application.
11. Manage and coordinate ad hoc customer requests for disaster recovery testing, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance related items.


Job Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience with IT applications development and/or IT support
2. BS or BA is required
3. 1-2 Years supervisory experience at the team lead or manager level
4. Previous experience with Remedy ARS application is a plus
5. Experience in an operations environment providing application support.
6. Understanding of back end technologies including soap messaging, general XML, and web services. Understanding of Bus architecture.
7. Proven ability to communicate issues and solutions effectively with management level personnel.
8. Experience with, or understanding of, defect remediation, application testing (including component, assembly, UAT etc), and end user training.
9. Proven experience in enforcing incident/problem and change management procedures.
10. Local to Atlanta areadf-tc
