Kaiser Permanente, parterning with Genesis10 Consulting, is seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician for a contract to hire positioin in Hawaii. The manager does prefer local, Maui candidates, but is willing to look at candidates from outside the area

Under general direction of the Supervisor of IT Field Services, Candidate will perform research, analysis and evaluation of KP-Hawaii's enterprise desktop systems performance. This also includes making recommendations for enhancements to improve performance levels and optimization of systems resources. Will plan configuration, installation, and testing of KP-Hawaii's enterprise desktop systems hardware and software; provide guidance, direction, training, and documentation to specified individuals on desktop equipment and network functions. Must be able to perform diagnosis and resolve level-two desktop problems; as well as provide escalated support when necessary. Additional duties include developing, documenting, and maintaining, analyzing, and evaluating enterprise desktop requirements, changes, additions and re-configuration. This person will contribute to the development and administration of enterprise desktop disaster avoidance and recovery plan with focus on Information Technology as well as follow established policies, procedures, or specific instructions. ,/b.

The desktop environment is a mix of Windows NT and Windows 2000. Candidate should have NT, 2000, and Active Directory experience. MCSE preferred
