SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER

CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION TO BE LOCATED AT OUR CLIENT SITE ON NORTH SLOPE, ALASKA.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and reporting on the project plan and performance.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
??? Assist in developing the program integrated schedule consistent with client projects.
??? Develop and manage detailed schedules covering activities through to the start of execution.
??? Manage and support planning activities of the contractors chosen to execute the program of work
??? Ensure that schedule learning from complementary work in other Business units and external companies are identified and appropriately utilized
??? Assist in developing the schedule process, system and procedures to support the program.
??? Assess potential contractors??? and vendors??? schedule capabilities.
??? Provide assurance that the contractors??? schedule systems interface with client and progress measurement is effective and consistent.
??? Promote collaborative information sharing with team members and contractors.
Experience & Knowledge
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
??? Solid broad-based experience in both define and execute phases on projects, a clear track record of delivery and a willingness and ability to work with all disciplines
??? Well developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and contractors
??? Good communications skills
??? Well developed support / knowledge management networks
??? Understanding of current schedule best practices and familiarity with Primavera P3 / P3ec
??? Excellent teamwork skills, including the ability to work with various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of the program
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, the successful applicant is likely to be able to demonstrate the following:
??? Experience working with subsea contractors
Any Other Relevant Information
Minimum BA/BS and 5 years equivalent experience or AA and 7 years equivalent experience may be substituted. Database administration experience preferred. NSTC required. Valid driver???s license that meets ICE Services insurance criteria required.

English fluency required
