Genesis10 Consulting, has partnered with the nations leading healthcare provider and is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a 3 month contract with option to hire position in Pleasanton, CA.

The position is a cross between a business analyst and office manager.

Purpose of this position and the major outcomes desired with successful fulfillment of the position:

Kaiser is looking for a junior to mid-level office operations manager with a strong background in tracking multiple operations concurrently. This person will work closely with the Quality Engineering technical team and the various KPIT Project Managers involved in software testing. He or she will be responsible for tracking and coordinating the 20 individuals who work on 50 different testing projects per quarter that involve the Quality Engineering (Performance Testing) Team. Will provide necessary tracking reports of people and projects.

Size of the Team: 20

Daily Responsibilities:
Track all engineers and their projects in the department.
Interface with incoming projects for basic business information requirements. Interact with end-users, business unit leaders, and partners to ensure high relationship development and coordination.
Track each individual's time vs. project commitments (inventory control) and communicate project status to appropriate management levels.
Identify and resolve department operational issues.

Required skills:
3+ years experience of managing multiple projects with multiple teams.
Excellent numeric and communication skills.
Strong analytical ability
Excellent Word & Excel & MS Project
Project and Business Objects / NIKU.
Proven track record of producing and meeting plans and schedules for variety of projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required soft-skills/personality characteristics:
Fast paced, fluid processes, proper interaction with customers
Experience working in a fast-paced, rapid-growth technical operations environment.
Personable and diplomatic team player, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Other Qualifications:

BA in business administration desired
Experience with healthcare information systems, and software testing are a plus
