Genesis10 Consulting, has partnered with the nations leading healthcare provider and is seeking an experienced EDS Operations Superviseor for an 8 month contract in Bellflower, CA.

The EDS Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising a staff of skilled distributed computing technicians in an area, or a combination of areas, based on regional geography and is accountable for service levels, customer satisfaction and performance against budget. Additional responsibilities include:Supervising a diverse group of EDS technical staff and vendors providing support related to distributed computing (PC/servers), network (LAN/WAN), and technologies. 1) Accountability and coordination of Move, Add, Change (MAC), repair, change, and asset management activities related to distributing computing technologies. 2) Proactive project implementation coordination assuring committed timelines and quality standards are achieved. 3) Accountability for problem resolution escalation and after-hours support coordination. 4) Establishing clear individual and team objectives/priorities and is accountable for tactical execution of assigned projects and/or strategies. 5) Measuring, reporting, and monitoring metrics associated with the delivery of services (SLA's) by individual staff member and the team. 6) Proactively using metric trends/data to make course adjustments and to ensure efficient/effective use of KPIT resources. 7) Managing the use and adherence of established and documented KPIT/EDS processes, tools, and best practices. 8) Proactively initiating required processes/improvements to achieve business results. 9) Challenging KPIT/EDS processes that do not support the delivery of appropriate solutions to business partners. 10) Demonstrating interpersonal leadership skills. 11) Evaluating and continually challenging staff/team performance improvements and ensuring appropriate accountability from self, staff, and other management. 12) Assisting manager in developing annual budgets (operating and capital) and monitoring of spending against established budget.13) Participating on special projects as a team member or team lead. Requirements for this position include a college degree or equivalent experience, 4-5 years demonstrated experience supervising a staff of 8 plus, demonstrated success in managing service levels and budgets, and success in managing projects of large scope and size.
