Description
The qualified candidate will train military healthcare professionals on AHLTA, an electronic health records (EHR) software application that has been implemented at Military Treatment Facilities* of the U.S. Navy. Trainer duties include developing training plans, scheduling training sessions, conducting instructor-led and one-on-one training of current and new students and associate trainers, reporting status, gathering metrics, scheduling and conducting meetings.

* Sustainment Training Team members will be located permanently, i.e. live near the specific Navy Military Treatment Facility they primarily support.

On-site AHLTA Experience
AHLTA Instructor and 1:1 training Experience
Ability to function in a Lead Trainer role
Clinical or hospital work experience
Military background or knowledge
Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in a healthcare clinical or training discipline
Current Passport (for OCONUS positions)


Required experience and skills:

Ability to obtain an IT/ADP II Clearance
Strong verbal communication skills
Outgoing, confident approach with customers
Able to teach equally well in classroom and over-the-shoulder settings
Must be dependable to respond reliably, quickly and completely to requests from the Program Office.
Strong leadership skills
Well organized, can reliably and consistently meet schedules and provide reports
Can adapt to change
Able to complete tasks with minimal instruction and guidance
Knowledge of CHCS and other automated information systems such as EAS, WAM and MEPRS.
