Ariba Specialist Role:
 
Member of a development team for Production Support of Ariba Buyer 8.2. This team member is responsible for working with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Customer Support Desk team to understand system issues and provide resolutions. Resolutions include design, development, and system test of data update scripts and code development in our implementation of Ariba Buyer.
 
In addition to the SIR resolution described above the Ariba Specialist will perform design, development, and system test of Change Requests in the Ariba Buyer application.
 
Key responsibilities may include:
 
  • Provide technical application support to functional team and Customer Support Desk team.
  • Unit test and implement Ariba solutions.
  • Debug application functions and processes.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot development related issues.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to other team members.
  • Execute and document System Testing for fixes and CRs
  • Ability to meet travel requirements when needed.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications
  
Basic Qualifications:
 
  • 3 years of demonstrated design and development experience with Ariba Buyer 8.2
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience developing detailed design specifications and unit test plans.
  • Experience using configuration management techniques for Ariba Buyer code.
  • Experience with Ariba integration events and heavily customized Ariba Buyer implementations. Specifically, experience with the AMS federalized version of Ariba Buyer is a plus.
  • Experience with Ariba Buyer production support. 
  • Experience with Ariba technical architecture support.
