The Oracle Financials Developer is responsible for supporting the core processes and application in production. He/she will be required to support the production and development systems, engaging in activities spanning the entire development lifecycle.

Specific Responsibilities may include:
  • Gather/define new business requirements, formulate technical specifications, perform code reviews and perform development
  • Application design and architecture components
  • Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
  • Application build, test, and deploy activities
  • Planning and executing data conversion activities
  • Driving test planning and execution

Ability to meet client travel requirements, when applicable

Experience/Skills
Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 year development experience in Oracle Financials - GL, AP, or AR
  • Minimum 2 year degree required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Full life cycle implementation experience in at lease one Oracle Financials module including: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management
  • Exposure to all phases of full life-cycle implementation:  requirements gathering, blueprint, design,develop,test, and deploy
  • Experience with 11i preferred
  • Strong development experience using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports/ Forms, database procedures/packages, SQL*Loader and AOL
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Workflow is desired.
