The Remedy Application Analyst is responsible for the hands-on ITSM (preferably v 7.0) implementation, configuration, customization, integtation, custom development and potential remote support of implemented systems.
 
Specific responsibilities may also include:

• Remedy application maintenance functions. 
• Work directly with users and other IS groups as required. 
• Analyze customer requirements and provide solutions utilizing a full-lifecycle methodology.
• Be a liaison in gathering and understanding requirements.
• Create technical specification documents for new functionality and ensure that new solutions integrate seamlessly with existing technologies in compliance with IS Standards & Strategy. 
• Ability to meet travel requirements as required

Qualifications

 
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
•  Minimum 1 year experience in BMC Remedy installation and configuration
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
• Understanding of the BMC Remedy Components (i.e. Workflow, Forms, Escalations, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Remedy Action Request System.
• Experience using the Remedy Administrator tool.
• Should have installed one module of BMC Remedy out-of-box solution (Help Desk, Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change ManagementAsset Management, or Service Level Management) or similar custom tool built on ARS.
• Basic understanding of ITIL process is desirable.
• ITSM v7 experience is prized, but v6 and v5 experience is acceptable
