We have an immediate need for APPLICATION PACKAGERS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for applying expert analysis to provide support for application packaging. Incumbent assesses situation to determine problem facing the client. Problems are not routine or standardized and the creation of documentation explaining the solution to the problem is required. Responsible for implementing changes to the client's environment. Incumbents are also responsible for mentoring and training other members. Support problem and change requirements as they relate to application packaging or image building. Work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to software applications or desktop image environment. These tasks consist of the most complex and nonstandard work and require independent thought and problem solving to resolve. Work to standardize repeatable tasks and steps across multiple accounts. Team members participate once or more a day in discussions on team performance, challenges, advice.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate needs solid knowledge of Packaging and Imaging tools such as Installshield, WISE, MSI, MST, VBScript, and Ghost. The candidate needs to understand desktop operating systems (W2K, XP, Vista, MAC), the registry, and have a full understanding that we have a managed desktop environment, and that our users will only have User level authority to the PC, and not Admin authority. Pager coverage and possible off shift coverage would be required.
