APPLICATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Location: San Diego, CAJob Description:Duties include helping with software planning, development of new techniques and methodologies, enhancements to existing software code, documentation, and quality assurance of software programs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, innovative, growing software development team with outstanding benefits and work in a challenging environment.The successful candidate will need to have good written and verbal communications skills and be able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision with highly organized work methods. Requirements:*
  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Structural or Aerospace engineering, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science with excellent academic record (please send transcripts along with resume).*
  • Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems and programming in C/C and MATLAB; Python and/or Perl scripting; TCP/IP distributed applications; .NET experience with C#; VB.NET a plus. Graphical user interface design and implementation experience. *
  • Data acquisition and engineering application software experience a plus. *
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. *
