Description
Our client is an Eastside company that is looking for experienced ActionScript 3 Programmers. Candidates who are qualified and interested are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates please submit your resume to (see below) Roles and Responsibilities:
  • This role will be focusing on a prototype for the new flashbased game. Will conduct desktop application development, so flex knowledge is a huge plus
  • Will also be required to test all development efforts
  • Will be interfacing with Graphic Designers, Marketing, the Backend development team, and the CEO
  • This position will be responsible for maintaining and extending existing AS3 game code with an eye towards product management and design


Requirements Include:
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Must have JAVA development with Flash experience
  • Candidates must be self-starters with the desire to work in a small and dynamic engineering team
  • 3+ years of experience with Flash/AS3
  • Understanding of UI and usability concepts
  • Have a passion for video games
  • Bonus for experience with SmartFox Server
  • Expertise in Flash Development: ActionScript 3.0, CPU/Memory optimization
  • Solid OO skills with the ability to write fast, elegant, clean codes
  • Strong experience building data driven, complex, high-transaction Internet applications
  • B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Game development experience (a plus)
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience and strong knowledge of Actionscript
  • Must have at least a CS degree or related discipline
  • SMARTFOX server knowledge is a plus
  • Game Development experience is a plus
