Description
Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for an Access/Excel Reports Developer with strong VBA experience for a temp to hire position in Manhattan at an established financial firm.The role’s primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance ofa new toolset using Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft Excel-based VBA. This role also involves the creation of report layouts and related MIS tasks.This varied job will include communication with internal and client IT/Business personnel, analysis of client/industry requirements, development of product enhancements/functionality. Applicant must have demonstrated experience developing VBA applications and reports using industry best practices and methodologies.Technical RequirementsThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following database development and technical skills:• Visual Basic for Applications development using Microsoft Access & Microsoft Excel• Microsoft Access database design• SQL• Understanding of database schema design• Report design and creation using JasperSoft iReport, Crystal Reports or Microsoft AccessThe following technical skills are also desirable but not mandatory:• Java• Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic.NET• Fundamentals of TCP/IP, local area networks, routing, firewalls, etcHow to Apply:No third parties No corp to corp/1099 LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Due to large response, candidates that do not meet the requirement may not be contacted regarding their submission If you are qualified please forward your resume to new.york.midtown@rht.com
