Corporate Resources, Inc. is a retained search firm specializing in the telecom and high-tech sectors. We are seeking candidates for an experienced Account Director role in the Los Angeles, CA area.

We are looking for candidates with an extensive and progressive background (10 years) in business development and sales; along with 5+ years experience managing a portfolio of geographic based accounts. He/she will need to demonstrate success in establishing strong relationships with C level and executive management in Fortune 500 organizations, and not only thrive on change, but drive it as well. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, specifically in a revenue generating capacity, on a month in month out basis.

In order to be successful in the position, the candidate will need sophisticated strategic/consultative selling experience and proven ability to hunt for, and win, new business. It is essential that candidates have impressive communication skills, the ability to articulate organizational value propositions, and a good technical grasp of key network concepts. The right candidate will be able to represent the full suite of company products including dark fiber, collocation, IP Transit and the VOIP based voice suite.

He/she will have full global revenue responsibility for the assigned accounts, as well as responsibility for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical sales and account plans. Candidates will be heavily involved in driving the initiation and close of sales contracts, development and maintenance of accurate revenue forecasts, managing quota funnels and forecasts and providing strategic and financial leadership for their portfolio.

Preferably, this role will be based in the LA area, but will also support clients across the Western Region. Travel is required.

Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years voice and data sales
- In depth knowledge of Wholesale voice business
- Record of success (Presidents club, etc.)
- Excellent customer references
- Experience managing customers with total portfolio in excess of $2M annual revenuedf-tc
