Dataline is currently hiring outside sales executives to help drive the continued growth of our commercial office in the Washington, DC metro area. To be successful in this position requires an ability to work with Dataline vendors, clients and prospects to identify and cultivate opportunities. Dataline Inc.=E2=80=99s goal is to develop a solid business
base in the areas of emerging technology and complex systems integration projects. These projects should use our current portfolio of expertise. Our primary goal is to provide =E2=80=9CTotal Solutions for Complex Projects=E2=80=9D with an emphasis towards building a service and solutions business base. Selling Dataline Inc.=E2=80=99s consulting services are key to
your success in achieving your gross margin goals!

Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying and making presentations to potential customers, and proposing and closing opportunities for Dataline solutions.

Essential duties:


Identify and capture revenue opportunities for Dataline solutions.

Independently establish and grow new or existing client base.

Communicate effectively with peers, superiors and other Dataline personnel.

Identify, understand and overcome obstacles or objections to the sale of Dataline solutions.

Proficient use of PC hardware and software.

Proficient use of internet for communication and research.

Existing industry relationships.

Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.

Developing and maintaining trust and rapport with new and existing commercial clients within a territory.

Consistently meet or exceed quotas set by management.

Probing and questioning to discover a need for Dataline products or services.

Effectively presenting to all levels from IT - upper management.

Overcome objections and obstacles.

Strong customer service.

Minimum Position Requirements


Knowledge of the software sales cycle.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to take on new challenges and environments on a frequent basis.

Strong understanding of business processes.

Familiarity with IT business systems and software.

4+ Years of relevant industry experience.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Willingness to travel.df-tc
