The Select Account Manager (AM) is an outside sales position and is part of a paired Account Team that is charged with maintaining and growing revenues within our Select customer base. The AM will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new AT&T revenue through a combination of acquisitions from competitors and expanding existing market share with clients by selling across the entire AT&T portfolio of services. The AM is responsible for meeting monthly sales quotas and will do this through the thorough development of account plans and account profiling to determine how to deploy resources to maximize AT&T revenues within the customer base.

The AM will be responsible for accurate forecasting, funnel management and execution of sales plans. The AM will be charged with developing multiple relationships within each account to improve AT&T's positioning to increase revenues and to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You will need strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships internally among service and support personnel to meet sales objectives and solve customer problems.

Must utilize consultative selling skills, and with the assistance of support resources, identify sales opportunities and close sales within the assigned accounts. The AM will be part of an account team (technical and other service resources) to meet customer commitment and satisfaction goals.

You, as the Key Player,

Accomplished Account Executives will effectively manage their time to:
- generate customer proposals and presentations
- make sales calls
- close new business
- submit complete and accurate contracts
- ensure that the customer implementation and billing is complete
- function as the main point of contact for your customer

You will engage the proper AT&T resources (Local, Video, International, Hosting, Data, IP, MNA, as well as Network Consultants) on complex solutions to ensure the proper solution is presented and sold to the customer. You will partner with internal AT&T and external resources to meet all plans and customer commitments.

Telecommunications sales experience in a business-selling environment is required including voice, data, IP and Hosting.
