Description
The Account Manager is a pure sales job. As an Account Manager, you will be expected to sell the main products the client offers: computer equipment, leasing, equipment supply and consulting services for hardware implementation, systems integration, storage solutions, backup & reccovery and network management.
The Account Manager's responsibility is to find, qualify and develop new accounts as well as understand all solutions. Success also requires developing strong relationships with their manufacturing partners and their local and regional representatives. Must have a solid understanding of technology including a variety of hardware and software platforms. The ability to capitalize on an existing bool of business is a real plus.
5+ yrs proven sales sucess in computer hardware sales, or in systems instegration:
Proven success at cold calling into accounts:
Understanding of computer hardware/software platforms:
Aggressive, hungry approach to doing business, self starter (especially in remote territory):
Money motivated, confident:
Strong sense of urgency:
Understands solution selling:
Ability to orchestrate resources in a team selling environment:
Willing to entertain customers and vendor partners to develop relationships:
