Description
An independent game development studio based in Sheffield in the UK requires an Action Script Game Programmer.

ActionScript game programmer to work on a five-month fixed-term contract on an exciting new game-based product. There is also the potential for a further 6-month follow-on contract depending on the success of the first project. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of the internal working of 2D game engines (culling, collision, internal engine data etc) and a passion for game development. This position may suit an experienced ActionScript programmer with an in-depth understanding of game development, or a experienced C++ game programmer who is willing to apply themselves to an ActionScript project. Knowledge of C# could be an advantage.
