Analyst/Technical Writer

Position Description:

• Assist with gap analysis, researching the practices and system configurations of infrastructure and application groups handling credit card information, to determine which PCI data security requirements apply.
• Act as a cross functional analyst and technical writer for PCI SME, IT, and Application teams as required by project.
• Update existing standards, policy, and procedural documentation as directed.
• Document new policies, procedures and standards to comply with PCI data security standards.
• Maintain a documentary/artifact library containing all documentation pertinent to PCI requirements for each group monitored to provide traceability and evidence of compliance.
• Create data flow diagrams using Visio to map end to end credit card flow.
• Research key IT systems to document current-state, comprehensively focusing on system interrelations, roles and permissions, segregation-of-duty issues, access security, user activity monitoring and related issues.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and application platforms
• Data Flow Diagramming and other process flow charting using Visio
• Ability to document IT technical and functional team requirements for new hardware/software purchases and/or enhancements to existing applications or infrastructure.
• Technical Writing
