We have an immediate need for a Application Business Support Analyst with Mercurys ITG/PPM

JOB DESCRIPTION
Years Experience 3-5 years

Functional/Business Analyst in Performance Mgmt division. Role will support end users and provide functional administration of HPs PPM 6.0 product for Time, Project, & Demand Management.

*MUST HAVE: 3-5 years of BA experience with Mercurys ITG/PPM product.

Successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of HPs PPM product (formerly Mercurys IT Governance product). Depth of understanding should include best practice usage, security administration and the ITG data model.
A technical development background with ITG/PPM would be a plus to provide needed perspective to communicate effectively with technical support team.
Addl Required Skills -Ability to troubleshoot reported problems -Ability to analyze or trend a situation and suggest improvements -Ability to multi-task -Ability to work independently given little direction -Ability to create and execute test plans and scripts -Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Will be working with a team and contacting customers that are geographically dispersed. -Highly proficient in writing SQL queries for reporting against an Oracle database (for ITG and Remedy) and presenting the data in Excel or other products.
Can understand a product data model. -Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Desired Skills -Experience with BMCs ITSM suite (Remedy) -MSRS report writing skills -Prior experience working with a project team during a development effort -IT application support/development background
