Description
Growing South Florida company is looking for the best LOCAL Applications/Database Developer. This Application/Database Developer will support the database and application needs of the area facilities. The position is responsible for gathering requirements and develop applications to meet the specific needs of the business users. The ideal candidate will also be required to assist management staff with other assigned duties such as support and maintenance of on going projects.

Responsibilities:
-Develop, support and maintain database and other applications.
-Gather and Document tech requirements from the Lead or business users and provide tech guidance to the end user.
-Complete development tasks assigned and relate any obstacles and time lines.
-Follow standards when developing database and web components.
-Execute and document application testing plans and resolve defects.
-Create and maintain application documentation and resolve application issues.
-Perform monitoring and maintenance.
-Train service desk on support of applications and be the second level support.
-Assists with all other assigned duties.

Requirements Skills:
-SQL server database and programming skills
-Skilled in Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access Programming, and Microsoft Office products.
-At least 2 years of SharePoint experience.
-Prior DBA experience would be a plus.
-Strong understanding of database configuration and integrationNeed to be able to provide end user support.
-Basic experience using business intelligence applications.
-Strong Organizational skills and follows standards and processes.
-Team Player with the ability to build technology experience using your teams knowledge.
-Must have excellent communication and be able to communicate will all levels of management and end users.
-Customer orientated and posses the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
-Ownership mentality of tasks and follow through.

Education
-Bachelors Degree Information Systems, related degree or equivalent work experience.
