Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Application Delivery Manager to join our team in Providence, RI.

Job Responsibilities:
This person will lead the system enhancement work for a set of health care payer applications in a matrixed organization. Responsibilities include:
  • The on time and on budget delivery of requested enhancements and changes to the assigned subsystems
  • Being the main point of client contact regarding all work in the assigned subsystems
  • Performing or overseeing the work breakdown and assignment of work to matrixed team members
  • Working with the team resource managers to forecast resource needs for upcoming work
  • Direction and monitoring of work progress including weekly status of actual vs. planned hours, activity completion progress, issue management, and risk identification
  • Escalation of issues to leadership as necessary
  • Mentoring of less experienced application development managers

    Required Skills:
  • Strong Project Management experience in a large application environment - particularly the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ten years of related experience in a complex application development environment, with at least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Strong communication skills

    Desired Skills:
  • Healthcare experience (Payer)
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Experience working with an offshore team

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • PMP desirable, but not required

    Strong preference given to local candidates; cannot offer relocation at this time
