Position Description:
The IT Specialist is responsible for the design and development of J2EE components within a larger project concentrating on Electronic Billing, Statements and Payments. In this role the specialist will complete project deliverables using an IT development methodology and deliver work products similar to IBM's Unified Method. The specialist will participate in the design including a detail design deliverable for J2EE and other batch related components. The specialist will also develop specific components including J2EE Web components (Servlets, JSP's), batch components (AutoSys), database components (JDBC, AutoSys), security components (SSO, sftp, PGP encryption), and participate in some Web Service development. The specialist will be responsible for unit and function tests in addition

Required Skills:
Senior IT Specialist needed on team to assist in design, development of an account management system development project. Need technical skills in the area of Web service design, batch processing, secured transport, and J2EE development.

Specific Skills Should Include:
J2EE application development (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, API, JAX-RPC), database (JDBC, batch updates), Internet Security (SSO, PGP Encryption, SFTP, etc) and Batch processing (AutoSys Scripting, DB connection). An understanding of Electronic Billing System is nice, but not necessary. Effective written and verbal communication is a must. The candidate must efficiently interact and communicate with technical resources and project management.
