Description
Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Application Developer to join our team in Plano, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:
This critical role is within our Healthcare Services team and will be responsible for the conversion of a leading web-based payroll solution from a COBOL back-end to a Windows NT back-end. To do this, you will work with business analysts and leadership to plan, design and coordinate all conversion activities; recommend appropriate design alternatives to be implemented based on customer constraints; execute plans and procedures for data conversion, customer acceptance criteria and support.

Required Skills:
  • 2-5 years experience of MicroFocus mainframe and Windows NT;
  • 2-5 years experience of COBOL knowledge, batch file experience and JCL.

    Desired Skills:
  • Payroll and/or HR experience;
  • Neopost knowledge would be a plus.

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
