Web Developer Position Description: Web Developer, with relevant experience in developing/maintaining Web applications on J2EE projects adhering to Client Web architecture, design, and development methodologies and standards. Must have excellent, proven Web development experience using Servlet/JSP technology, Java, J2EE, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT. Experience in Mainframe technologies such as COBOL II/IMS/DB2, CICS and design experience in moving Legacy applications to the Web very desirable.* Please see Required Skills for experience levels. Job role & Skill set: Application Developer - J2EE Required skills: Expertise levels on a scale of 1 - 5: Java/J2EE 4 Servlet/JSP development 4 HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS 4 XML, XSLT 4 WSED/RAD/RDZ 4 WebSphere Application Server 2 Rational Requisite Pro, ClearCase, ClearQuest 3 DB2 v7, v8 (XML Extender) 3 Excellent written and oral communication skills 3 IMS (desirable) 2 COBOL II (desirable) 3 CICS 3 US State Public Assistance (Welfare) experience (desirable) 3 Education/equivalent experiences required: Bachelors in Computer Science/Information technology with minimum 4 to 5 years experience.
