We have an immediate need for an Application Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
4+ years knowledge of data warehousing concepts

2+ years ETL tool experience, i.e. Informatica PowerCenter

4+ years Oracle RDBMS experience, specifically 9i or 10g

2+ years experience writing and maintaining portable, re-useable functions and stored procedures using PL/SQL

4+ years DB troubleshooting and problem resolution experience with relational database environments



Experience with Data Modeling and Data Administration tools, i.e.Erwin, DB Artisan, TOAD Principle Duties and Essential Job Functions: Performs data extraction, transformation, and load tasks from multiple data sources to create new data warehouse/reporting data marts Must work independently, or within project teams, with minimal supervision Close coordination with Etl Architect and Informatica and Cognos Developers is required to ensure tight integration of reporting functionalityspecifications.



Experience interfacing with SAP R3 systems and SAP ALE, RFC interfacing, MONK and Basic UNIX, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or Business to Business exchange (B2B) a plus xiii. Working knowledge of JAVA and Perl



Develop and document detailed technical designs, interface control designs, and common test data ii. Build and test the integration architecture components iii. Support the developer base for the integration source and target systems in the coordination of integration tasks and dependencies iv. Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the components meet integration requirements and performance goals v. Conduct and participate in code reviews vi. Provide timely project status and escalate issues appropriately vii. Participate in transitions of the integration/application components to the testers viii. Support unit, functional, system and performance testing of integrations ix. Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing x. Be on 24/7 on-call support rotation, as required xi. Get involved in operational governance of the ETL service
