Description
CAI has an immediate need for Application Developer and Webmaster. Position will be located in Washington, DC. This will be for a full time/long term assignment.

FUNCTIONS:

1) Technology and General Services Department Webmaster
As Webmaster, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and implementing the overall web development, quality control, and maintenance related activities for the department. This includes responding to end-user requests, via phone call and e-mail. Guided by existing policies and procedures governing the Intranet, the successful candidate is expected to handle requests for posting content, granting access rights, creating new pages and sites, organizing TGS content into categories, assisting content managers and owners update their site, and provide technical support as needed to resolve web related issues.

2) Web Application Developer
As the Web Application Developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for design, development, enhancement, upgrade, and tier II technical support of .NET framework and Microsoft technology based Web applications residing on the Intranet, Internet, and Extranet. This includes primary responsibility for survey development on those environments, enhancement of existing webcast application, and other applications as needed.

3) Backup Technical Support
As member of the Web Integration Team, the candidate will also be required to provide Tier II backup support for MS Project Server Administration, Web Usage Statistics, .NET application development services, and participate in testing and quality control activities as needed. As an alternate, the successful candidate will be expected to learn and gain experience with HitList Web Usage Statistics tool, and MS Project running on MS Project Server 2003 at the enterprise-level. The candidate is also expected to provide direct Tier II end-user support, implement necessary changes, and upgrades, and assist the end-user community use the tool accordingly.

Experience/Skills
The selected candidate must have:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with MS Project, Internet Explorer, and the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
The ability to hard code web pages using HTML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, and .ASP.
Previous work experience with providing IT end user support.
Must have initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision, as part of a team.
Experience with OO methodology, and system design, development and enhancement.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software development framework and related development environments such as .NET platform, Visual Studio, and SQL Server required.
Experience with CMMI and MS Project Server, and Reporting Services highly desirable.
At least 5 years experience
