Application Developer

Overview:
The Developer will work on Interactive Intelligence's internal products. This position requires interaction with various teams throughout the company including Development, Testing, and Support. The successful candidate will have experience in design and development of applications using C# or C++. They will also be experienced with SQL and GUI work.

Qualifications:
  • Understanding of n-tier architecture, object oriented development concepts and Microsoft Net technologies.
  • Knowledge of Win32, TCP/IP, client-server development
  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience developing with C++.
  • Experience developing under Windows environments
  • Experience in the design and development of multi-threaded or real-time applications
  • Experience in GUI design and development
  • Source control and Perforce experience a plus

Responsibilities:
  • Create & improve class architecture in response to requirements, bug fix/enhancement requests.
  • Synthesize requirements for new features and gather feedback regarding planned features.
  • Track and organize bug fix & enhancement requests for future releases.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed and self-motivated environment.
  • Willingness to go all-out to meet critical deadlines on both an individual and a team basis.
  • Assisting other team members with product support and product deployment issues as needed
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new technologies
  • Beyond application development and maintenance duties, assist with the build as required. This will take approximately 10% of the developer's time.

Requirements:
  • Development experience with C++ or C#
  • .Net experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent in work experience

Extra consideration given for:
  • GUI development experience is a plus
  • Database (SQLServer) development experience is a plusdf-tc
