We are currently seeking to fill an Application Developer position for our client in Chicago, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for development of complex Actuate reports for several applications using various datasources within Brokerage Data Management. Also, responsible to analyze application requirements, and to create technical design documents.Being onsite lead/liason we expect the person to have good people skills to deal with multiple project teams, leads, issue escalations etc.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing approaches to satisfy project deliverables on assigned projects. Presenting these approaches for review.
- Partner with Development and Environment/Support teams to ensure quality implementations

Requirements:
- 4 year college degree in Computer Science or equivalency required
- 3+ years BI & Reporting design and development experience (Actuate)
- Experience in Object Oriented programming
- Data Warehouse, Data mart architecture and design
- Relational database design and development (DB2 UDB, Oracle)
- SQL and stored procedures, SQL optimization skills is desired as well.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
