Description
Boutique consulting firm providing services to government agencies seeks Application Developer. Will be responsible for designing and implementing a J2EE framework for supporting core services for all J2EE based applications. Must have an in-depth understanding of: J2EE, iPlanet, WebLogic, Oracle 9i, and experience working both in UNIX and NT environments. Understanding and experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Web Services technologies (SOAP, WSDL, XML, etc.) is desired. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the configuration of Java interface components using XML schemas and deployed constrictors. Knowledge of Web and application containers, JVM, SSL, and DB authentication, authorization, and access fundamentals will be critical in creating abstract components that can be accessed by external applications. A solid foundation in XML schemas, XSLT, and XSL-FO is preferred.

To be considered for this position a candidate must currently possess a TS/SCI Clearance and a Lifestyle Polygraph. This position is located in Northern Virginia. Candidates without lifestyle polygraph should not apply for this position as they will NOT be considered.

This is a full time direct hire position with a small consulting firm that is dedicated to making its clients and employees happy. To be considered for this position you MUST have the following - a current TS/SCI Clearance and a Lifestyle Polygraph - live in the Washington DC metro area - have 3+ years experience in related work and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated history of high initiative in previous assignments. Candidates must have the ability to interface with a diverse customer set across organizational boundaries.
