Application Engineer - 4070CJ

We are seeking an experienced Consulting Application Engineer for a contract position with a local, large healthcare client.

The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of Multiple platforms including TCP/IP, data communications, MS NT/WIn2000, server hardware, network components and security. Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Exchange, installation and support. Strong experience with corporate mobile platforms and operating systems in both Wifi and cellular networks. You will be responsible for analysing and troubleshooting network, hardware and software problems and perform problem isolation and resolution. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to other technical staff, department user groups and external vendors of products. Ability to implement proactive monitoring and planning to further develop and maintain server-based applications. Ability to be a team player and service driven.

Required Skills:
NT/Win2000, server hardware & configurations, network components, network topologies, security, Active Directory, Internet, Core applications such as Exchange, SQL, etc from an installation and support perspective

Work experience and education:
Min of 3 years experience in multiple platform networked environment developing and supporting MS Products. MSCE or Microsoft Product Specialist Internet is a plus.  Degree preferred.
