Description


Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of information technology professionals, has immediate openings for JAVA Application Programmers/Developers for a 1 year contract/temporary opportunity with a leading company in downtown Cleveland.
The Programmers will handle the development and programming changes required for merging 2 platforms. The technologies will include HTML, JSP, JAVA, JAVA Beans, JavaScript, STRUTS, JDBC, Oracle database, PL/SQL and UNIX scripts.

No Corp-to-Corp

In this position, candidates will be responsible for all aspects of system development and maintenance including:
Requirements gathering, system analysis and design, documentation, coding, testing, and implementation.
Researching and resolving production problems.
Dealing with end users and hosting sites to resolve issues.
Acting as a point-of-contact for customers and the Project Management Office.
Providing technical support to end users.


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
2 years of Programming experience in:
* JAVA, JAVA Beans, JavaScript
* HTML, JSP, JDBC, STRUTS
Ability to communicate very clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work with a variety of people such as customers, managers, and DBA's
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance

Preferred skills include:
* Oracle database 10g or higher and PL/SQL Programming
* Knowledge of development tools like TOAD or SQL*Developer
* Familiarity with the use of version control tools (such as CVS, PVCS)
* SQL
* Capability Maturity Module Integrated (CMMI) familiarity
