Description
Global Financial Firm located in OFALLON, MO has an immediate opening for a Application Programmer Senior.

Assist in analysing, defining and meeting Customers' needs by creatively applying skills and experience in the creation or revision of our Customers' systems. Research and develop creative solutions to the more difficult technical problems

Competencies Required:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience as an IT professional.
Must be organized, very good problem solver and detail oriented.
Must interpret Customer's needs and have good oral and written communication skills.
Must prioritize work, set deadlines and work independently - as well as a team.
Needs to become an expert in several Mortgage systems and efficiently apply this understanding to both system applications and training others.
Mainframe programming knowledge and experience required.
Must have knowledge of programming languages (5 years experience with Cobol, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS) and the aptitude to quickly learn different programming languages.df-tc
