CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for an Application Programmer.

Application Programmer

Expected Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work with systems analysts, users and the group manager to design and develop application software, often using prototyping to help define or clarify requirements. Work with the DBA to design and develop database structures needed to support applications. Conduct unit testing of developed products. Finally, you will be responsible for updates/modifications to the programs.

Relevant Background:

- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in computer science or other relevant discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred

- 2 - 4 years of full-time or equivalent part-time programming experience in Microsoft Access or Visual Basic

- Knowledge of relational database management systems

- Knowledge of object oriented design and programming

- Knowledge of MS Access constructs, and Visual Basic programming language

- Knowledge of Oracle stored procedures and their effective use

- Knowledge of current web development methods and tools such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, ASP, Active X, Java, Java Script, etc.

- Ability to understand technical manuals

The junior role is $40k - $45k and the intermediate is $50k - $60Kdf-tc
