Description
CCCi has an exciting opportunity for an Application Specialist with one of our large Healthcare clients here in the Charlotte area. The candidate will prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test and debug documents and maintain those programs. Candidate must be competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.

Client requires 4 year degree preferably in computer science, business admin, or related field; although 2 year degree candidates and candidates with equivalent work experience will be considered. Formal training in one (or in some cases all) of the following information systems technologies is desirable: desktop applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, etc.), databases (MS-Access, Oracle, Sybase, etc.), software development packages (Visual Basic), programming languages (C ), SQR and Crystal, Unix AIX. Candidates with primarily an educational background should have information systems or business-related internships or part-time employment experiences. 2 years work exp with IS technology preferred. Experience in health care industry is preferred.
