High Level Job Description:
Ensures the continuing operation of software applications. Applies and tests enhancements, fixes and upgrades to applications. Demonstrates ability to discover, troubleshoot, and fix software problems. Responsible for problem triage and responding to helpdesk tickets. Monitors performance, stress and load tests. 4 - 6 years of experience.

This role is part of the technical production support team. This technical support role will support the EDW/EDM Food and Beverage systems in production for the P1UP and Food and Beverage Client initiatives.
Responsible for technical design, development, and unit/integration testing the data mappings and transformations required to populate the Food and Beverage Enterprise Data Warehouse,
- In this role, candidate will need to:
- Be an analyst as part of a very technical team, thru working and resolving break/fix, and the development of enhancements,
- Assist in developing the technical design for new requirements for the PEDW applications,
- Work with Legacy applications and SAP teams to determine root cause of failures and/or best approach to resolve break/fixes and enhancements,
- Identify and perform performance tuning opportunities and architecture oversight,
- Perform code reviews/pear reviews and follow support processes and methodologies,
- Be open to cross training and to work with different DW applications.

Required Qualifications:
Qualifying Question:
1. Do you have Teradata performance tuning knowledge with experience on V2R6 and V13?
2. How many years have you actually done this tuning?

Required
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or business with emphasis in computers or related field from an accredited college,
- Minimum 5 years IT experience,
- Minimum 3 years of ETL and data warehousing experience,
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Successful experience in Matrix management and team collaboration,
- Experience using Informatica with a Teradata target required, Informatica Designer Certification preferred,
- Experience with Teradata required,
- Teradata Master Certification preferred,
-Expert SQL Knowledge,
Strong BTEQ experience,
Experience with the PELDM preferred,
Must be well versed in Data Mart design and dimensional modeling,
Working knowledge of methodologies and complex projects for CPG companies,
Applicant must be willing to be on call after hours on a rotation basis,
Applicant must have strong customer service focus with desire to work with the business and team members to resolve issues.
- Strong Teradata performance tuning knowledge required with experience on V2R6 and V13,
- Must have familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer,
- Experience or background in supporting applications, Experience in developing or supporting i2 MDM applications.df-tc
