Application Support Manager

Purpose:

is recruiting for an Application Support Manager. This position is responsible for definition of customer requirements, development of solutions and application administration. The position provides second level Helpdesk support for all software applications used by the firm and has overall responsibility for server based application installation, support, administration, maintenance and development.



Responsibilities:



Summation iBlaze/Weblaze

Sharepoint Portal Services

MS SQL Server 2000/2005
database administration, maintenance, development and design, including DTS design, in a clustered environment

Ability to troubleshoot software problems at desktop and server levels

Elite/ Elite Webview system administration

Whitehill Template design and server administration

Cold Fusion & Java Web development experience helpful

Project Management for new installs and upgrades

MS Access development

Filemaker Pro development

Windows 2000/2003
Server admin

Autonomy/
iManage system administration and full-text indexer maintenance

Interaction system administration

Citrix integration of applications

Familiar with applications running on VMware servers

Managing data stored on NetApp SANs

SnapManager for SQL experience.

IIS administration

Equitrac administration

WebTMS administration

viDesktop administration

Scripting experience

Smartphone/PDA experience a plus


Qualifications:



5 Years of progressive experience with SQL 2000/2005 system platforms (MCDBA a plus), IIS and Internet portals.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Must relate well to all levels of customers.

Excellent team-building and collaborative skills and ability to mentor technical staff and analysts.

Ability to lead and supervise application development projects and teams.

Strong documentation skills.
Proven problem solving ability.

Legal experience required.
